Trivia over Zoom, Teams or FaceTime: phones in hand, host on the shared screen
The host starts a Smarddy Pants room and shares their screen on the call. Everyone else opens the link on their phone and answers there, so nobody is typing into chat or shouting over each other. Scores and reveals update live for the whole call.

How a remote round works
- Host opens Smarddy Pants on a laptop, picks a pack (or Shuffle) and the number of questions, and shares the screen on the call.
- Players tap the join link or type the four-letter code on their phones. No downloads, no accounts.
- Each question runs on a timer; faster correct answers score more, and wagers let someone swing for the lead.
- Reveal, scoreboard, next round. A typical 10-question game takes about eight minutes.
Two more ways to play remotely
Same-day race: everyone plays the Daily Gauntlet on their own time and compares grids and ranks in the group chat. Beat my score: play a 7-question Score Run and text the challenge link; friends get the exact same questions and a head-to-head result.
Teams and icebreakers
For a remote team, Smarddy Knows is the icebreaker: people answer oddly specific questions about themselves and the rest of the call guesses. It works with cameras off and needs zero setup.
